Here at Your Holiday Claims we have recently received an enquiry from a British holidaymaker who became ill during their holiday at the Club Hotel Pineta in Turkey.

Numerous guests at the hotel have commented on TripAdvisor after being diagnosed with infections including campylobacter and E. coli.

One visitor to the hotel from Manchester stated that they were “admitted to hospital” after becoming “severely dehydrated” as a result of their illness.

Doctors diagnosed the holidaymaker with “campylobacter”, thought to be caused by chicken eaten at the Club Hotel Pineta.

Others have described the hotel as a “hell hole” after witnessing food “infested with flies”. A holidaymaker from Newcastle reported that “many people including myself only ate at the hotel and ended up with E. coli food poisoning”.

Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims, commented: “We are concerned by the reports of illness at the Club Hotel Pineta.

“Contracting E. coli or campylobacter can lead to suffering extremely serious symptoms of sickness, stomach cramps, and diarrhoea.

“I hope that the tour operators and hotel management will investigate the current reports of illness in order to prevent any further spread of infection.
