Holidaymakers struck by stomach bugs at Hilton Sharks Bay, Egypt

We are becoming increasingly concerned after reading reports of illness outbreaks at the Hilton Sharks Bay in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.

Guests at the hotel have complained after becoming ill with stomach bugs. Meals served have been described as “hit and miss” and “tasteless and bland”.

One couple on review site TripAdvisor commented “the food was not as bad as some say, although we both picked up stomach bugs towards the end of our stay”.

Another couple were approached by guest relations to comment on their stay and they shared their views and concern. Guest relations attempted to restore the couples faith I the hotel by offering them a “special table outside with candles and rose petals.” The couple said that “the chef made up a special meal of Waldorf salad to start and then steak”. Although a nice gesture, the couple went on to suffer further stomach issues.
