Holidaymakers left with bad Memories at Memories Varadero Beach Resort

Recent holidaymakers have condemned Memories Varadero Beach Resort in Cuba as “the worst holiday of my life”.

The all-inclusive, four star Resort is promoted by Thomas Cook. The Resort features “an abundance of activities, restaurants and bars to while away the days”.

Despite a guest praising the Resort as being beautifully presented and the staff for their pleasantries, the food came under fierce criticism. “The food was the worst I have ever had” she said.

“The meat in the bins was tough, yet the meat being served at food stations was raw and both cooked and raw meat was being handled with the same utensils”.

The guest claims to have suffered sickness, insinuating cause through poor food hygiene. “My mother was sick for three mornings out of seven, always after breakfast. I was sick one morning and have suffered stomach ache consistently since our holiday”.

“I would not reside at this Resort again unless management undergo substantial effort to correct the food issues” she concluded.

Another holidaymaker who had travelled to Cuba as a group of twenty-five claimed “seven of our group became sick during our one week stay – the only saving grace was the coffee”.
