One holidaymaker who visited the Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa with their partner earlier this month revealed:

“My boyfriend and I have just returned from our stay here (15/01/18 – 22/01/18) and I wanted to share our experience. I’ve never had such a bad experience that made me want to post it so that others would know to spend their money elsewhere.

“THE FOOD… my goodness the food here is not 5 star worthy.

“Like Ive said, a few of the à la cartes were not too bad. We did really enjoy the Mexican one. But the buffets are the same every day and we both got really sick from the food which ruined the end of the trip for both of us.

“My boyfriend spent an entire night sick in the bathroom and spent our entire flight home the same way.

“Our fridge was properly stocked maybe 2/3 times during our trip. This was really frustrating because like I said, we were both sick and wanted the bottled water since we didnt want to drink from the tap and risk getting even more sick.

“My advice: Take your money somewhere else”.

In addition to this, another former guest of the Punta Cana hotel claimed:

“Id like to begin by saying that the beaches are really beautiful, the white sand and clear sea are fantastic to relax around.

“However, that is where it ends unfortunately the food is terrible I have never suffered food poisoning anywhere abroad but this hotel constantly gave us it the whole two weeks, which completely ruined our holiday.

“Id do some strict research on which hotels offer good food if you are visiting Dominican Republic.

“Dont let food poisoning ruin your holiday, dont stay at this hotel”.
