Passengers hospitalised during stay on the TUI Marella Dream Cruise
British holidaymakers have recently commented on the website Cruise Critic after a December 2017 cruise on board the Marella Dream Cruise Ship was reportedly plagued by illness.
One recent passenger commented:
âDespite no information from the staff it became clear very quickly that the ship was carrying a serious bug and had been for several weeks before we boarded.
âPassengers were very ill, some hospitalised at various ports, many on drips in their cabins.
We departed the ship on Friday 5th Jan whereby the ship was getting a full sanitisation in Tenerife but they were still allowing passages to travel on it, which in my opinion was wrong given the level of the illness and serious nature of the bug.â
Another holidaymaker claimed that âone person was airlifted to hospitalâ and others âon dripsâ.
