Illness still rife at Jaz Aquamarine Resort
Your Holiday Claims are alarmed to learn that illness is still rife at the five-star Jaz Aquamarine Resort.
Just this week, we spoke to a sickness stricken party of 11 who suffered from illness symptoms during their stay.
Review site TripAdvisor is now saturated with reports of holidays ruined by an ongoing suspected food poisoning outbreak with several guests claiming to have been hospitalised owing to the severity of the illness symptoms.
âMe and my partner were rushed to hospital the second we landed home! Both had a stomach infection, my partner ended up staying in hospital for a week and was very close to needing a blood transfusion, due to loosing so much blood,â states a recent guest.
âWe can only assume it was down to the food and drink.
âWe did not leave the hotel the whole time we were there. I can only remember eating one piping hot meal. We ate the second the restaurants opened to ensure we had hot food and still failed! It got to the point we were being ill daily straight after every meal, by the end of the week we didn’t want to eat or drink anything. We had no choice but to eat what was making us ill.â
Another recent hotel visitor comments that âhalf of the guests in the hotelâ were suffering from âa bad stomachâ with many âin the clinic on dripsâ during their August 2016 stay. The Cardiff holidaymaker urges the hotel âto look at their food as so many people were ill.â
Your Holiday Claims regularly hear from and successfully settle no win no fee claims for compensation in Egypt. In one of our more recent cases, Anne Thomson, our head of travel law, helped a family from Reading secure £6,240 in damages after their Egyptian break was plagued by illness.
Commenting upon the latest reports of illness at Jaz Aquamarine Resort Anne said: âWe first reported on poor hygiene standards at the Jaz Aquamarine in summer 2015 after guests suffered from sickness during their stays. I find it simply inexcusable that holidaymakers are once again reporting to have suffered severely as a result of poor hygiene standards at this hotel.
âAt Your Holiday Claims our helpline remains open to anyone who has fallen ill at Jaz Aquamarine Resort within the last three years. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff can advise you on the merits of your case and answer any questions you may have regarding making a no win no fee claim.â
