TUI Family Life Lagoon Princess guests return home “disappointed” following illness ordeal

  • “Very large percentage” of the hotel fall victim to the illness
  • Some holidaymakers unhappy with how the outbreak was combatted by hotel staff and the tour operator
  • Multiple concerns also raised over the amount of mosquitoes at the Greek hotel

YourHolidayClaims are aware that the TUI Family Life Lagoon Princess resort, which is also known as the Blue Lagoon Princess, has recently been host to a widespread gastric illness outbreak.

A number of holidaymakers to have stayed at the TUI promoted resort have detailed the events of their ill-stricken visits on the website TripAdvisor.

One of these affected visitors of the five star resort claims sickness “killed” their holiday, before adding:

“Finally and by no means the least we were hit along with a very large percentage of the hotel by a serious stomach bug that rendered some of our party ill for days.

“We were lucky as we didnt end up in hospital like some of the guests did however the response to this and the sheer number of guests who seemed to be ill left me feeling very alarmed and I couldnt wait to get home to prevent anyone else from becoming sick”.

In addition to this, another poster also reveals how their holiday was affected by illness as they commented:

“Then the sick bug hit us… [my] poor hubby was very very poorly, reception were notified and at 2am I was brought bedding that didnt fit and a mop and basically told to clean up myself!

“In all honesty at this point we just wanted to get home. Since being home myself and son have been poorly…I would not ever return to this hotel not even if someone paid me”.
