Holidaymakers hospitalised at the Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa, Turkey

Your Holiday Claims are currently receiving enquires from British holidaymakers who have fallen ill whilst staying at the Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa in Turkey.

One guest contacted us after a family member required hospital treatment after becoming unwell during their stay in September 2014.

Another party of 11 reported that all of their party were ill during their Turkish getaway which was booked with tour operator Thomson.

Other British holidaymakers have also reported falling ill with sickness and diarrhoea at the Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa.

One visitor commented on TripAdvisor: âThe bar staff rinse all the glasses in their own tap water before putting them back on the shelves. [This is] probably the reason why my partner has been ill with diarrhoea for the majority of our stay.â

Others have reported contracting gastroenteritis at the hotel, stating: âA lot of people had stomach problems, mainly diarrhoea.â

âGastroenteritis is an intestinal infection which commonly causes symptoms of sickness, diarrhoea, and stomach cramps. Being ill can very easily ruin a holiday and may also result in holidaymakers requiring medical attention.â
