Holidaymakers hospitalised after sickness bug at Perdikia Hill, Turkey

Holidaymakers who stayed at the Perdikia Hill in Turkey during June 2014 have reported falling ill. Visitors to the hotel have suffered symptoms including profuse vomiting and diarrhoea, with some being diagnosed with gastroenteritis.

This has led to many hotel guests commenting on the review website TripAdvisor warning of the outbreak of illness.

On guest said: âWhile I sadly wasnt able to enjoy my stay at Perdikia Hill due to becoming very ill with the bug, the hotel does have its plus points.

âI havent been ill like that in my life and I have no idea what caused it but both myself and my partner ended up hospitalised and ill for a large part of our stay. At hospital on drips, we were diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis.

âIts a pity that this bug took a hold on so many, people look forward to their hard earned holiday, only for it to be ruined.

âOn day 5 with two nights left I started feeling ill again once out of hospital so we just decided to pack up and leave, check into another hotel down the road and we were fine thereafter.â
