Holidaymakers staying at the Pegasos World Hotel have complained on TripAdvisor of falling ill whilst at the hotel.
The Pegasos World Hotel is a 4 star all inclusive hotel promoted by First Choice. The hotel is situated in Side, Turkey. The property enjoys a beachfront location, 4 restaurants, swimming pool with waterslides and sauna.
Many holidaymakers at the hotel have fallen ill with âsickness and diarrhoea.â  The reviews seem to blame the food quality and hygiene and also stated âthis had to have come from the hotel as we hadnt been anywhere else!â Visitors symptoms have ranged from a few days to over 9 days.
Guests at the hotel have complained of the alcoholic drinks being watered down and served in plastic cups. Visitors have also said in their reviews that the plastic cups were often re-used and not cleaned correctly.
Many observations have been made with regard to the drinks served, such as:
âSometimes you could taste the previous drinkers flavour of drinkâ
âI had a piece of lettuce floating in my new drink.â
âCheck the plastic cups they put your drink in as they were often dirty.â
Remarks have also been made about the food served, stating âthe worst I have experiencedâ and âflies on the food in the restaurants, drove me insane!!â
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced solicitor at Your Holiday Claims, said: âThere seem to be many reports of illness at this hotel.â
âAlthough the hotel is large, illness is not acceptable. The hotel management and tour operator are hopefully working closely together to establish the cause of the illnesses and prevent further spread of infection.â
I would urge anyone who has fallen ill at the Pegasos World Hotel to contact Your Holiday Claims for advice on how to make a claim for compensation.â
