Holidaymakers facing medical bills after sickness bug at the Jaz Mirabel Park

British holidaymakers have reported being left stuck with medical bills after outbreaks of illness at the Jaz Mirabel Park in Egypt.

Numerous recent visitors have commented on TripAdvisor after being affected by a sickness bug which they believe was caused by poor hygiene standards with the hotel.

One hotel guest commented: “We all came down with bad cases of sickness bugs costing £180 in medical bills.

“We spent half our holiday in a filthy room in bed ill. My opinion is the rooms arent cleaned properly and the bug is spread around the rooms through bad hygiene.”

Others have stated that they spent “most of the holiday” suffering a “terrible stomach bug from the food I ate”.

In October 2014, the team at Your Holiday Claims was contacted by a family who were left requiring hospital treatment after falling ill at the Jaz Mirabel Park. Family members were treated with intravenous fluids due to the severity of the illness suffered.
