At Your Holiday Claims we are continuing to receive enquires from British holidaymakers who have fallen ill on holiday at the Lindos Imperial in Rhodes.
Since August 2014, outbreaks of sickness bugs have ruined numerous hard earned holidays at the five star destination. Yet despite widespread reports on the illness outbreaks, holidaymakers are continuing to suffer similar symptoms of sickness, diarrhoea, and stomach cramps.
One recent visitor to the hotel commented on the review website TripAdvisor questioning the âdubious hygieneâ standards at the hotel.
They added: âGoing down to reception we spotted we spotted several children projectile vomiting on stairs and corridors.
âDuring our stay we all got ill with horrendous vomiting and diarrhoea and had to have two hotel doctors round to administer antibiotics.
âI am still not feeling better after a week off work and neither is my wife. Its going to take a while to fully recover from this horrible holiday and its after effects.â
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims, commented on the outbreaks of illness: âWe are concerned by the continued reports of illness at the Lindos Imperial.
âWe are currently speaking to many holidaymakers who have been affected by outbreaks of illness at this hotel.
âIt is our hope that the tour operators and hotel management will investigate the current food and hygiene standards at the Lindos Imperial in order to protect the health of all holidaymakers.
âWe would encourage anyone who has fallen ill on holiday at the Lindos Imperial to contact us as soon as possible for advice on whether you may be able to make a successful claim for compensation.â
