Holidaymaker placed on drip at the Holiday Village Red Sea, Egypt

Here at Your Holiday Claims we have received an enquiry after four holidaymakers fell ill at the Holiday Village Red Sea (also known as Coral Sea Holiday Village) in Egypt.

We have previously reported on outbreaks of illness at the First Choice hotel throughout 2014 after we were contacted by holidaymakers who had suffered symptoms of gastroenteritis including sickness and diarrhoea during their stay.

In recent weeks, visitors to the Holiday Village Red Sea have commented on TripAdvisor reporting illness and poor hygiene standards.

One hotel guest stated that they âsuffered a tummy bugâ during their stay despite being âextra careful with things like water and sanitizing gelsâ.

Another holidaymaker commented: âMy little sister was taken ill and went to see the onsite doctor. She was hooked up to a drip for dehydration and was not feeling well at all.â
