Guests report “gastro problems” at Hotel Riu Belplaya in Spain

British holidaymakers have commented on TripAdvisor after they were left suffering stomach infections at the Hotel Riu Belplaya.

One recent visitor commented: âSeveral guests had gastro problems including my wife. One guy spent a spent a night in hospital on a drip he was so bad.â

Others have reported that symptoms of illness quickly became the main topic of conversation across the hotel.

A holidaymaker stated: âBoth of us have been ill with sickness and diarrhoea over the past 2 days and I was told other people in the hotel had also been taken ill during our stay.â
