Reports of food poisoning are currently emerging at Sherwood Breezes Resort in the Antalya area of Turkey.
The four star hotel, promoted by First Choice, is currently under scrutiny by holidaymakers amidst claims of food poisoning and poor hygiene.
A recent holidaymaker reported on TripAdvisor that she was “still recovering from salmonella” a week after her stay.
The guest continued: “The room did not get cleaned every day & when they did the sheets weren’t changed.
“Every night the dresser was covered in black tiny insects. We complained to reception but they just accused us of eating in the room.
“It has been confirmed by environmental health that I contracted it (salmonella) from an omelette at breakfast.”
Other recent visitors have also taken online to warn of “flies everywhere in the restaurant, including on the food” and poor quality food which was “often cold and not cooked”.
