Holiday Illness Claims have received a shocking report from a British family alleging to have suffered from severe symptoms of food poisoning during their May 2016 stay at the Club Playa Blanca.

The stricken guests claim that the majority of their fellow hotel guests were also suffering from similar symptoms during their stay, with up to 90% of guests said to be affected. In a particularly disturbing comment, the holidaymakers report witnessing children vomiting in the swimming pool and describe sick buckets being scattered everywhere in the hotel grounds.

Reports of illness and appalling hygiene standards at the Lanzarote hotel can be found on review site TripAdvisor.

One holidaymaker blasts the food on offer as “awful” and claims that “it was that bad my mum got food poisoning and was being violently sick for 4 days.”
