Despite reports of illness in recent years, holidaymakers still continue to return from the UK complaining of holiday illness at the Tirana Aqua Park Resort, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
The 3 star hotel is promoted by Thomas Cook among others and offers all-inclusive dining, believed to be the cause of people suffering food poisoning symptoms. Guests report the food to be inedible and often left out uncovered, open to fly and insect contamination.
Many Holidaymakers have complained about poor standards of hygiene at the hotel and have witnessed glasses and cutlery being rinsed under the cold tap and sometimes just wiped clean, resulting in 5 people out of a group of 11 contracting cold sores.
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims said: âUnfortunately it appears that the Tirana Aqua Park is continuing to experience problems with illness. We have previously been instructed by families who stayed there in 2010, 2011 and 2012 so it is clear that problems remain ongoing in 2013.
âThomas Cook has settled the majority of the claims brought against them but some are still being negotiated.
âI would urge anyone who has suffered illness during their stay at this hotel to get in touch.â
