Numerous distressed holidaymakers have warned others about the standards of the four and a half star resort, by sharing the experiences of their holidays on TripAdvisor.

One of these recently distressed visitors of the Memories Paraiso Beach Resort described their holiday as a ânightmareâ, before adding:

âStop. If you are considering booking this hotel then please don’t. My party of 7 have just arrived home from this hotel and we all have gastroenteritisâ.

âAfter a few days we began to notice a few concerns regarding health and safety and hygieneâ.

âOur freshly cleaned bedding had blood stains on it from the previous beds. Our fresh towels had human faeces on themâ.

âThe pool bar rewashed the plastic cups in tap water and then re served drinks in themâ¦Everyone on the bus was so glad to go homeâ.

Additionally, it appears that worryingly this holidaymaker is not the only one who has been hit by illness during their stay, as a July 2017 guest commented:

âFood was horrificâ¦Flies, mosquitoesÂ in the foodâ.

âI was violently sick [with] diarrhoea, stomach cramps [that] were really bad. [I} stayed in bed [for] 3 days of my holiday.

âAll of us got the stomach bug due to poor hygiene. Pizza was dropped on the floor and handed to me to eat which I could not believe but didn’t dare say anythingâ.
