A suspected outbreak of food poisoning at the Royal Albatros Moderna has been linked to poor hygiene standards at the hotel by disgruntled guests.

A lady from London who recently stayed at the Royal Albatros Moderna said on TripAdvisor: “On day 2 of our holiday my brother slipped by the flumes and broke his wrist.  This was something which was TOTALLY 100% the hotels fault – no non-slip mats were provided, there was excess water on surfaces and no signs warning of possible falls. My brother was not running or rushing, yet the neglect of the hotel caused him to fall and be in agony for the remainder of the holiday.

“Although the hotel has a clinic on site, which dealt with him and transferred him to the local hospital, the treatment he received from so called ‘lifeguards’ at the time of the accident was horrific. The guy was yanking him by his injured wrist yelling at him to get up and bending it in all sorts of ways which were clearly hurting my brother”.
