Sickness stricken stays at Club Cala Romani

A family of three have contacted Your Holiday Claims for legal advice whilst still at Club Cala Romani.

This enquiry comes just weeks after we heard from a party of 12 British holidaymakers who claimed that their Spanish getaway at the resort was ruined by sickness, diarrhoea and ear infections, with young children from the group hospitalised owing to the severity of the symptoms.

Reports of guests being hospitalised and receiving medical attention are also common on hotel review site TripAdvisor.

One recent holidaymaker claims to have spent “nearly 400 euros in total” doctors fees and medication costs after her husband and two children contracted ear infections. According to the Welsh holidaymaker, the doctor reported seeing “too many” Club Cala Romani guests with similar illness symptoms.

“Most of the family have come home with major ear infections and skin infections,” comments another guest adding that “doctor has stated that only occurs that bad in times of really dirty bacteria pools, skin is itching rotten!”

Recent guests have also raised numerous concerns regarding food hygiene at the resort with complaints of “food poisoning” from undercooked, recycled and improperly stored foods commonplace.
