Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel in Hurghada has suffered criticism from holidaymakers who have suffered alleged symptoms of gastric illness, just months after Your Holiday Claims last received enquiries from guests staying at Steigenberger Al Dau.

One guest complained “my partner and I became ill with stomach upset. After witnessing children helping themselves to the buffet and returning used cutlery to serving dishes – it came as no surprise”.

Other guests witnessed “Disposable nappies entangled in the coral in the sea of the private beach area”.

Dining was criticised by one holidaymaker who was served “bugs in salad and raw meat at the Oriental restaurant”, not unsurprisingly he said “we won’t ever go to this hotel again!”
