Guests report sickness at Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel

Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel in Hurghada has suffered criticism from holidaymakers who have suffered alleged symptoms of gastric illness, just months after Your Holiday Claims last received enquiries from guests staying at Steigenberger Al Dau.

Steigenberger is promoted by Travel Republic. It is referred to as âa haven of sophisticated luxuryâ.

One guest complained âmy partner and I became ill with stomach upset. After witnessing children helping themselves to the buffet and returning used cutlery to serving dishes â it came as no surpriseâ.

Other guests witnessed âDisposable nappies entangled in the coral in the sea of the private beach areaâ.

Dining was criticised by one holidaymaker who was served âbugs in salad and raw meat at the Oriental restaurantâ, not unsurprisingly he said âwe wont ever go to this hotel again!â
