Multiple recent visitors of the Tomas Cook promoted hotel have commented on the resorts problems on TripAdvisor, including one British holidaymaker who revealed:

“The one complaint that I had was that [the] Norovirus sick bug was rife in this hotel and its sister apartments next door.

“My daughter got it within 24 hours of arriving followed by my son and me. Most of the other guests had it too either before or after our arrival.

“The hotel management kept saying that it was everywhere all over the Canaries but this story didn’t tally with my findings. So it was like it was being covered up.

“The hotel pretended like it wasn’t happening and I didn’t see any effort being made to acknowledge and contain the sick bug”.

Additionally this holidaymaker is not the only former Lobranda Corralejo Village guest to have had their stay tainted by sickness, as another recent visitor posted:

“[I’m] very disappointed with the hotel after the refurbishment, although they have obviously spent a lot of money upgrading the rooms.

“The food? As we had a sickness bug, after 2 days, we didn’t eat very much of it, because we thought it wasn’t cooked properly, and [it] tasted bad?

“It wasn’t very hot either, and choices are very poor. Many people were sick during our stay.

“[We] wouldn’t go back to this hotel, as we were sick for 4 days”.
