The team at Your Holiday Claims has recently been contacted by a holidaymaker whose stay at the Batihan Hotel in Turkey was ruined by sickness.
After being served undercooked food at the Thomas Cook promoted hotel, they experienced sickness, diarrhoea and fevers.
In recent weeks, hotel guests have commented on TripAdvisor, with some reporting having “returned from 2 very difficult and stressful weeks” at the hotel.
One holidaymaker stated: “Our 3rd night there we both woke up in the early hours having pains and being sick.
“This continued for 3 days before we sought medical advice from the onsite doctor located beside reception.
“At which point, we were both rushed to hospital, put on IV drips and 5 different types of tablets. Been home 3 days now and still not much better.
“Completely disgusted with the hotel and will never return.”
Another recent visitor reported that guests being affected by “tummy bugs” at the hotel “appears to be a common occurrence”.
