Illness victims “hospitalised” following outbreak at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana

This week, YourHolidayClaims’ holiday illness specialists have been in contact with a holidaymaker who travelled to the Dominican resort as part of a wedding group only to have both his and his family’s stay spoiled by sickness.

The ill-stricken tourist claims he, his wife and daughter suffered from diarrhoea and stomach cramps for the majority of their stay.

Unfortunately, our legal team have found reports on the website TripAdvisor that suggest more holidaymakers may also have succumbed to illness whilst staying at the hotel.

One distressed holidaymaker revealed:

“3 days before we left, my daughter wasn’t feeling too well and needless to say that night she was vomiting all night.

“We then realised that she had food poisoning … she could not keep nothing in her stomach.

“The day we left, she could not walk as she had been vomiting so much that we had to wheel her out in a wheelchair”.

Another former guest of the Dominican resort also worryingly commented:

“[My partner] hospitalised with food poisoning after eating at Toro, their steak house”.
