The Jamaican complex, which is marketed by U.K tour operator Thomson, has been slammed online in multiple reviews left by guests following their stays.
Reports left on hotel reviewing website TripAdvisor reveal that there are numerous issues with the newly opened Riu Reggae hotel, and frustrated holidaymakers have not been afraid to express their emotions.
âColdâ and âundercookedâ are just two words that have been used to describe the food on offer, with one guest even claiming that the chicken, pork, and fish they were served was all ârawâ.
Furthermore, another irate holidaymaker advises fellow travellers to bring their âown sanitizer and get your food from the back or underneathâ, after witnessing alarming issues regarding the resorts hygiene standards.
In addition to this, one former guest stated:
âLike the other [guests] we felt we were treated as Guinea pigs testing out the various aspects of this resort and reporting back the deficiencies we foundâ.
âFrom poor cable T.V to refrigerators that were not working or plumbing that wasnt connected resulting in flooded floors, to construction around the pool and washrooms that were closedâ¦suffice to say they opened too soonâ.
