An increasing number of holidaymakers are contacting YourHolidayClaims to make holiday sickness claim against their tour operator, following ruined holidays at the Thomas Cook promoted resort.
Visitors to the popular destination in Majorca have reported that many guests were left vomiting as a result of illness at the resort. They also noted issues with hygiene and food safety.
It was just last year that over 50 holidaymakers contacted YourHolidayClaims after falling ill at the hotel, with symptoms including sickness, stomach cramps, and diarrhoea.
Recently, guests have taken to TripAdvisor to review their time at the resort, and complain of illness.
A holidaymaker said that they were left “bed-bound” after suffering illness at the hotel, and reported:
“[We’ve] been here 8 days so far and on a 14 day holiday. All four of us (including four year old boy) have had a crippling sickness bug we have picked up from the poor quality food (still ongoing).
“On many occasions we have noted that leftover food has been reheated and made into a ‘stew’ type dish the following day. Stick to non-meat or cold (salad) dishes, that way you minimalize the chance of food poisoning from their constant reheating of hot meat dishes”.
