At Your Holiday Claims, we have received an enquiry from a British holidaymaker who was reportedly ill during their stay at the five star hotel in Antalya, Turkey.

Many returning holidaymakers have also taken to TripAdvisor complaining of the poor standards of food safety during their stay at the hotel. A British lady has also claimed that she is still suffering with symptoms of salmonella after falling ill at the hotel.

On TripAdvisor, Diana Sinclair commented: “I retuned on 4th August with salmonella and Im still very ill.

“It has been confirmed by environmental health that I contracted it from an omelette at breakfast on my last morning, my flight home was horrendous.

“Only saving this dreadful hotel was Eric & Balut, the bar staff, they were helpful, happy to talk & smile.

“We will never return to Sherwood Breezes hotel, its a 3 star at a push. We have been to other hotels in Lara Beach all far superior and 5 star.”

“There does appear to be a problem within the hotel and we hope the tour operators involved will carry out a full investigation as to why people have recently had their stays ruined as a result of illness.
