At Your Holiday Claims we are once again reading complaints of illness at the Dar Khayam Hotel in Tunisia.
In July 2014 we were instructed by holidaymakers who had contracted gastric illnesses at the hotel.
Recently, British holidaymakers have reported contracting gastroenteritis during their stay at the hotel, thought to be caused by food poisoning.
One hotel guest commented: âAfter a few days I became very ill and had to have hospital treatment for gastroenteritis (severe food poisoning).â
Visitors to the hotel have reported that food at the hotel was often served cold. Others have required time away from work after continuing to suffer illness on their return home.
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced holiday claims solicitor at Your Holiday Claims, commented: âWe are concerned by the continuing reports of illness at the Dar Khayam Hotel in Tunisia.
âWe have previously been instructed by British holidaymakers who have contracted gastric illnesses and salmonella infections at this hotel.â
âI trust that the tour operators will investigate any reports of illness at the Dar Khayam Hotel in order to ensure that the cause of the outbreak is identified and dealt with.â
âAnyone who has fallen ill during their stay at the Dar Khayam Hotel can contact myself or a member of our expert holiday claims team for advice on the merits of making a claim.â
