At Your Holiday Claims we have received further reports of British holidaymakers suffering from illness at Xperience Kiroseiz Parkland in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Having previously reported cases of holidaymakers being affected by illnesses including stomach cramps and diarrhoea, we have recently received further enquiries from holidaymakers who have suffered similar illnesses during their stay.
A family of five who stayed at the hotel after booking through tour operator Thomas Cook, have informed us that one member of their party fell ill for eleven days of their two week holiday, suffering from symptoms of severe diarrhoea and stomach cramps. Another family member who was affected was hospitalised once they returned home due to the severity of his symptoms.
The family has informed us that that they were aware of others at the hotel falling ill and various visitors have made complaints about the standards of the hotel through Tripadvisor.
A woman from Leicester who visited the hotel said, “In the time we were there many people were poorly with upset tummy’s and I have to say I was shocked looking at the photos on the Thomas Cook website, the hotel looks nothing like it in real life.
“It’s run down, the food is in no way five star and the rooms are dirty and unsafe.
“The toilets around the pool are filthy with no toilet roll or hand wash”.
A male from Glasgow also commented saying, “I spent most of the days in the pool with my 3 year old daughter, however after a couple of days I had ear infections”.
