Reports have been emerging of a further outbreak of gastroenteritis at Bodrum Holiday Resort and Spa in Turkey. Guests at the hotel have reported falling ill due to poor food hygiene standards, suffering from a range of symptoms including diarrhoea, sickness and severe stomach cramps.

“My son and myself had upset stomach every time we ate from the restaurant.
“I was vomiting for 4 days and I was so weak I could not even walk”.
The stricken guest believes that poor hygiene was the cause of their suffering noting that the evening meals were “reheated too much” and the hotel pool appeared to be constantly “dirty” with a strong odour.

The disgruntled visitor continues by labelling the hotel restaurant a “cattle market”, and states that birds were “flying all around looking for food”.
