Holidaymakers reportedly hospitalised after falling ill at the Valentin Perla Blanca
- âColdâ and ârawâ food reportedly served to guests at the Cuban hotel
- Suspected illness outbreak at the resort leaves holidaymakers battling sickness and diarrhoea
- Some of those affected forced to spend time in hospital due to the severity of their condition
It has been brought to the attention of the legal specialists here at YourHolidayClaims that multiple former visitors of the Valentin Perla Blanca resort in Santa Maria, Cuba, have alarmingly had their visits hindered by illness.
This comes following the discovery of a number of reports which have been posted on TripAdvisor in recent weeks, which suggest that poor hotel hygiene has contributed towards a high number of guests falling ill at the hotel.
In a review titled âNIGHTMARE STAYâ, one former visitor of the Thomas Cook promoted hotel revealed:
âSo many people fell ill it was unbelievable.                    Â
âIt was my own ignorance ignoring reviews that sent alarm bells ringing which I choose to ignore and went (to the hotel)!
âMany of us at this resort came down terribly ill… people we met were forced to go to the hospital… I myself ended up on an IV and [was] sick for 4 days out of [my] 7 day stay.
â[The] food could not be worseâ.
Furthermore, worryingly this recent guest of the Valentin Perla Blanca is not the only one to have been struck by sickness during their stay. A February 2018 guest of the four star hotel also recently commented:
âThe food was never hot, [it was] always lukewarm, or cold.
âWhether at the buffet or the A la cartes, [there was] never hot food. At the A la carte restaurants, we ordered food and it was on our table within 3 minutes! This was not cooked to order!
âAt the buffet my husband and I took fish and when we got to our table, the fish was not only cold but not cooked in the middle, raw!
âHe was sick during the night, and me the next day, and from there we only took cheese, cold meats, etc.
âWe talked to several other couples we met others and several experienced diarrhoea. Some people ate meat, fish, chicken or salads, and different restaurants. We suspected the waterâ.
Our legal specialists thoughts
âIt is very unnerving to learn that holidaymakers have apparently been hospitalised after falling ill at the Valentin Perla Blanca hotel.
âSuffering from sickness can be a distressing experience at any given time, however succumbing to illness whilst on a highly anticipated holiday can make the ordeal even more stressful.
âIf illness caused by poor hotel hygiene has hated either you or your familys package holiday, then it is important that you dont let sickness have the last say. Contact the legal experts here at YourHolidayClaims now to find out if you are eligible to make a claim.
