Gastric illness reportedly circulates through the Iberostar Tucan

It has come to the attention of the YourHolidayClaims team that a possible gastric illness outbreak has hit recent guests of the five star Iberostar Tucan in Mexico.
This is after a number of TripAdvisor reviews which has been made by former guests of the resort emerged, which appear to reveal that some guests may have suffered from sickness during their stay.
One of these holidaymakers who visited the First Choice promoted resort in November 2017, revealed:
“[Whilst] there on night 2, my oldest daughter from Fort Worth came down with diarrhoea and a stomach bug and got very ill.
“On night 4, my youngest daughter was sick the whole last day with stomach [problems], vomiting & diarrhoea and was ill for 4 days total. Her husband came down with it the 4th night.
“After our Hibachi dinner, I woke up at 4am with the same stuff and had to be wheel chaired to my flight that morning! As I write this three days later, I am still feeling puny.
“The day we returned one of my grandsons from OKC came down with it and the couple from Houston got it the day they returned home.
“None of us were in the same building at the resort, nor did any of us fly in on the same flight, so obviously something was going around at the resort”.
Additionally it unfortunately appears that this holidaymaker was not to only one to have experienced illness issues during their stay at the Iberostar Tucan, as another former guest posted:
“Lovely grounds and friendly staff. Unfortunately all of our group got sick from the food with two of us sick [for] the entire trip.
“Food was mediocre at best. The food looked good but tasted not so good and of course there was the big issue of us getting sick from it.
“This seemed to be a problem for other American and Canadian travellers during our stay as groups were comparing how many of them were sick”.
