Paradisus Varadero devastation after reports of food poisoning

Our research has found some concerning comments on TripAdvisor from holidaymakers who have visited the Paradisus Varadero in Cuba.

One holidaymaker who visited the Cuban resort in March 2017 reported:

â[I] got food poisoningâ after being âserved a seafood sauce that was not fresh [and] spent the whole night [suffering from] vomiting & diarrhoeaâ

âThe following morning I went to see the doctor and met at least five other guests who were there with the exact same problemâ.

Another displeased former guest of the resort also disclosed how poor food hygiene was a prominent issue. They claimed:

âThe food was pretty bland except the beach BBQ, although [I] had to take charge of [my] own food to avoid burgers, chicken and fish being served pink in the middle and charred on the outside”.
