The team at Your Holiday Claims is once again reading reports of severe illness affecting guests at the Jaz Aquamarine Resort in Egypt.
Just last month we became aware of guest who had been “sick throughout their stay” after being served food which was “cold or barely warm”.
More recently, holidaymakers have taken to TripAdvisor after they were affected by “food poisoning” at the Thomson promoted hotel.
One recent visitor stated: “Food was awful. I was bad for 12 days of my holiday and even the antibiotics from the pharmacy did nothing. Everyone we spoke to had been poorly.
“I was sick for 3 days and my husband for 10 out of 14 days. Food was lukewarm and dry. I’m never going back.”
Another guest reported being placed “on drips with a cocktail of antibiotics and other injections”. They were informed that their illness had been caused by “sunstroke”.
However, their illness continued for 2 weeks after returning home and they were informed by their GP that they had been affected by “food poisoning”.
The holidaymaker added: “I strongly believe there is either a bug going around this hotel caused by bacteria or they are not practising good food hygiene.”
