It appears that many holidaymakers who have recently visited the Sharm Plaza Hotel are returning home disappointed, after having their stays ruined by illness.

Numerous British holidaymakers have taken to TripAdvisor to warn others “don’t go” after their hard earned holidays were ruined by an alleged outbreak of illness and infestation.

A recent guest commented:

“The food was horrendous, we were ill for 70% of the holiday and had to spend a fortune at the pharmacy to stop us all being sick with diarrhoea with excruciating stomach pains.

“The worst holiday I have ever been on and would not recommend to anyone”.

Another unhappy holidaymaker slammed the resort as “a flea infested hell hole” after suffering with multiple insect bites at the resort. “I got 3 in one night” reported the stricken guest.

The luxury all-inclusive hotel also made headlines in August 2015, with one holidaymaker reporting they “lost 7lbs in a week” due an unpleasant “stomach bug” contracted at the Sharm El Sheikh resort.
