British holidaymakers at the Rehana Royal Beach Resort and Spa in Naqb Bay report their luxury Egyptian stays have been ruined by âdisgustingâ food and âstomach problemsâ.
Numerous holidaymakers have taken to TripAdvisor to air their complaints after an alleged outbreak of illness has left guests suffering sickness and diarrhoea for several days of their stay.
One guest branded the resort âthe worst hotel in townâ after enduring a week of âcoldâ chicken and rice served by the hotels all-inclusive restaurants.
The unhappy holidaymaker added: âWe have both come home with stomach problems which started when we were there. I had to go to the clinic on site I was so ill, it cost £350.
Another recent guest likened the five star hotel to âsomething out of the Flintstonesâ and warned the hotel food at Rehana Royal Beach was ânot fit for a dogâ.
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims, commented: âI am very concerned by the current reports from holidaymakers at Rehana Royal Beach Resort and Spa.
âEgypt is a hugely popular location for British holidaymakers and it is very disappointing to hear reports of many guests falling ill.
âI would encourage anyone affected by illness at this resort to seek expert legal advice as they may be eligible to make a claim for holiday illness compensation.
