British holidaymaker turns to YHC after ill-stricken stay at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba

Our claims experts are currently in contact with a holidaymaker whose family’s recent visit to the five-star Grand Bahia Principe Coba was plagued by sickness.
The distressed holidaymaker revealed that their partner and two children all fell ill with gastric illness symptoms during their stay, and they believe this came as a result of poor pool hygiene at the resort.
Worryingly, reviews on the website TripAdvisor suggest that additional recent holidaymakers have also succumbed to gastric illness whilst visiting the Mexican complex.
Commenting on the website, one disgruntled June 2017 guest revealed how the hotel is also battling a hand, foot and mouth disease outbreak as they disclosed:
“Our tummies were fine the first week but my fella was ill the whole of the second week. My daughter was surprisingly ok and I had an upset tummy a few days but unlike my partner I managed to continue with normal activities.
“We heard of 6 cases of Hand Foot and Mouth disease whilst there and saw babies and young children covered in spots from head to toe. Families of the victims where sure it was the dirty pools. To the fair we can’t tell but for those families their holiday was ruined.
“One family asked for a warning notice to be put up but they refused wanting to keep it quite per our Thomson Rep”.
The resorts hygiene was also questioned by many other holidaymakers, with one posting “The cleanliness of the resort left something to be desired”.
