Your Holiday Claims are saddened to learn that holidaymakers have contracted shigella whilst staying at the Sea Gardens in Sharm El Sheikh.
A family of three have taken to TripAdvisor to voice their concerns over their spoilt holiday.
Although the family have said that the food at the Sea Gardens was good, they commented that “it made us all ill.”
The family reported that on their third day at the hotel they began to feel unwell with vomiting, nausea and diarrhoea” and that “It was no fun travelling home sick with a 5 year old.”
After continuing to suffer for over ten days the family sought medical treatment back in the UK. Their GP confirmed that all three family members had contracted shigella.
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced solicitor at Your Holiday Claims said: “It is appalling that just one week after last reporting illness at the Sea Gardens confirmed cases of shigella has been reported.”
“It is essential that hotel management and tour operators promoting this property carry out a full investigation into the cause without delay.”
