Eftalia Splash Resort illness complaints continue
- 7-year-old hospitalised after contracting illness at the four star resort
- Other guests also reported to have collapsed as a result of falling ill

One holidaymaker has commented on TripAdvisor
“3 days into our holiday my husband ended up with severe sickness & diarrhoea stomach cramps which put him off his feet for nearly a week.Â The only place we had eaten was in the hotel.
“Kids pool was closed due to children pooing in it. No sooner was it reopened there was poo on the slides again which was merely wiped off with a cloth dipped in the pool water lots of kids ended up quite sick.”
Others have reported that their children have even ended up in hospital after they continued to suffer symptoms of illness on their return home. One TripAdvisor poster revealed:
â3rd day into [our] holiday my son aged 7 years old got poorly and [so did] my brother aged 15. Which ruined the holiday for them.
âWe got delayed for 2 hours coming home â¦ my son and brother [were] still not well [and] my son collapsed on [the] plane.
â[When] we got home to England at 6.30 am in morning I had to take my son to [the] doctors, they sent us to hospital [and] he is now on a drip seriouslyÂ illÂ [with symptoms of] sickness and diarrhoea.
âNot happy at all especially after being delayed and my son ends up in hospital due to something in the hotel.
âWe won’t find out what is wrong with him now until Monday morning because he has [to] stay in until then due to being on a drip!! Never will we go back to Antalyaâ.
