Other visitors have since taken to TripAdvisor to review their holidays after witnessing poor hygiene standards at the Sea Club Resort.
One holidaymaker commented: âMe and my partner have just got back from a week stay which may I add I am so glad we only booked for a week! Sharm as a place is beautiful but this hotel is ridiculous!
âThe food is absolutely vile we lived off soup and fruit all week and we were ill 60% of the holiday with an upset stomach, we even got advised not to eat the rice or the salad!â
Another guest claimed that the resort was âvery poorâ and continued: âMost guests had food poisoning including myself which lasted 3-4 days of a 7 day holiday.
A visitor said they were âvery disappointedâ with the hotel and stated: âJust arrived home from a holiday at the Sea Club Resort and we cant find anything to say that describes how awful our time was.â
In addition a guest from Plymouth said they were ill at the hotel after witnessing its poor hygiene standards: âDirty staff seen picking teeth then touching food with no gloves, both my husband and myself poorly with bad tummy, food disgusting.â
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced travel law solicitor at Your Holiday Claims, said: âWhen reading these reports from recent guests at the hotel there appears to be a real issue with illness at the resort.
âI hope that the hotel management will look into these reports of illness and poor hygiene and ensure that the highest standards are upheld to prevent further outbreaks.â
