Here at Your Holiday Claims we have recently received an enquiry from a British holidaymaker whose Egyptian getaway was ruined by illness at Xperience Sea Breeze.
The holidaymaker had fallen ill after travelling to the Xperience Sea Breeze in Sharm el Sheikh and suffered severe weight loss during their stay. On returning home, their partner also began to feel unwell.
We have previously reported on outbreaks of illness at Xperience Sea Breeze in July 2014 after holidaymakers experienced symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea. During that time, guests at the hotel required medical attention due to the severity of the illness suffered.
More recently, holidaymakers have complained of poor food and hygiene standards at the Thomas Cook and First Choice promoted hotel.
Recent visitors have taken to TripAdvisor to describe the food on offer as “cold” and “lukewarm”. Others have reported being served “watered down drinks” and finding “mouldy shower heads” in their hotel rooms.
