A couple visited the Dominican resort in November 2014 and have got in touch with us after their holiday was “ruined” by illness.

This comes after a wave of recent reports of guests suffering from illness has been documented on TripAdvisor.

In February 2015, we reported on outbreaks of sickness bugs at the Thomas Cook promoted hotel which resulted in holidaymakers visiting an onsite doctor.

A lady who recently stayed at the hotel in April said she fell ill on the second day of her trip:

“Over the course of the week we spent at the resort, not only did we become ill but so did approximately 50% of the 300 people we travelled with.

“This certainly put a damper on our fun as we found ourselves needing to go to bed instead of enjoying all the resort had to offer. We were sick on and off throughout the week”.
