Earlier this year we reported on guests suffering “painful stomach cramps and diarrhoea”.
Since then we have received several further enquiries from holidaymakers who have suffered similar disruption to their holiday at Rixos Sharm El Sheikh.
One guest claims to have suffered “severe stomach cramps” throughout their stay and was “constantly on the toilet”. It is further claimed that “fish was not fresh”, “chicken looked undercooked” and “birds” were apparently seen “walking across work surfaces and eating from bowls of nuts”.
One holidaymaker previously claimed via TripAdvisor that “food was not fit to eat”.
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced holiday claim solicitor at Your Holiday Claims, responded to the criticisms: “It would appear ‘impressive’ would not be the best word to describe Rixos due to the allegations being made by holidaymakers”.
“I would urge any holidaymakers who have suffered from gastric illness at Rixos Sharm El Sheikh to see their GP on their return home”.
