Here at Your Holiday Claims we have recently received an enquiry from a holidaymaker who has fallen ill on holiday in Tunisia.

The holidaymaker had travelled to the Sahara Beach Resort in Skanes when their stay was ruined by illness.

In 2014, we were contacted by visitors to the Thomas Cook promoted hotel who were affected by outbreaks of sickness during their stays. During this time, guests were reporting experiencing symptoms including sickness, diarrhoea and severe stomach cramps.

More recently, holidaymakers have commented on the review website TripAdvisor claiming that they “not only need another holiday but need a medical” after returning from the Sahara Beach Resort. Food at the hotel has been described as “cold and very basic” after some guests witnessed “flies over uncovered food”.
