The YHC travel law team have discovered numerous online reports, which reveal a number of issues regarding illness which have recently occurred at the Be Live Collection Punta Cana resort.

Frustrated former guests of the Thomas Cook promoted resort have taken to website TripAdvisor to comment on the hotels hygiene problems, such as one November 2017 visitor who posted:

“I would definitely not recommend this resort for many reasons. The food is beyond terrible. I got violently ill on Thursday and my daughter followed suit two days later.

“There was absolutely nothing appetizing about the buffet.

“I would definitely not go to the burger snack bar at the end of the day. The chicken and beef burgers are wrapped in paper and held on a shelf for who knows how long.

“Thats where I believe I got food poisoning (chicken burger). I would not recommend this resort.

“There are better places in Punta Cana, thats for sure”.

Furthermore, unfortunately it seems that this holidaymaker is not the only recent visitor of the five star resort to have been hit by illness. One poster labelled their holiday as the “worst vacation ever”, before adding:

“I’ve been to eleven all-inclusive resorts. Hands down this is by far the worst trip I’ve ever experienced.

“[We] had to move rooms due to water leaks which my wife found in the middle of the night. She fell and tore her rotator cuff and now [she] cannot return to work.

“[The] food was horrible and [I] got sick twice. [Its] pretty [safe] to say that my vacation this year was hands down not a vacation”.
