Holidaymakers take to the internet to criticise Sensimar Bavaro hotel
Holidaymakers who have visited the Sensimar Bavaro in the Dominican Republic have taken to hotel reviewing website TripAdvisor to voice their complaints after their stays were ruined by outbreaks of sickness.
One particularly disgruntled holidaymaker reported: “We spent 5 of our 7 nights suffering from extremely upset stomachs which now continue as were home”.
“The Sensimar pool didn’t even remotely smell of chlorine and had workmen digging up the piping along the side with brown water spilling into it”.
The frustrated poster, who stayed in March 2017 then turned his attention to tour operator Thomson, and states “Thomson reps were very uncaring, rude, dismissive and stubborn”.
He finished by saying: “This is the worst holiday we have ever been on, Thomson should be ashamed”.
Furthermore, a current guest staying at the Sensimar Punta Cana has had to endure similar troubles. Unable to wait until they got home to express their feelings about the resort they have posted on TripAdvisor while still on holiday.
They commented, “Currently staying…So looking forward to going home as everyone seems to have upset tummies”.
Additionally when speculating as to why so many guests at the Sensimar Bavaro resort are falling ill, this holidaymaker claims that the steakhouse food is ‘tepid cold’.
