Illness strikes at Mitsis Laguna, Crete

The couple claim to have suffered from gastric illness that led to them being unable to keep food down for 5 days.

Reports of poor food quality and low hygiene standards employed at the hotel are rife online.

Writing on review site TripAdvisor, one guest claims, âThe hygiene levels were poor and the food was often very cold or undercooked. I must seriously question the ability of half the staff this hotel employ.â

Another guest warns, âthe food is terribleâ and âlooked inedible.â
