Holidaymakers reveal their disappointment following stays at the ClubHotel RIU Bachata

Recent guests reported they were less than impressed with Riu’s five star rated facilities and claim that “sickness” and “stomach cramps” have ruined their holidays.

A recent holidaymaker commented on TripAdvisor:

“The hotel is in need of some TLC. It is very tired looking. The rooms had a stale smell to them.

“Normally in Riu hotels the food is very good, here it was so poor that we went out to eat twice in the fortnight as we needed some good food.

“All in all a very disappointing holiday. My wife and I both suffered stomach problems over the fortnight”.

“It was a disaster…would never recommend this holiday to anyone and certainly has put me off staying in another Riu hotel”.
