Holidaymakers have reported that outbreaks of illness and ear infections have ruined stays at the Club Hotel Viva.
A British lady who travelled to the four star hotel in Marmaris, Turkey claims her âson had an ear infection within three days of swimming in the poolâ that âwas never cleanedâ. By day seven of their holiday, the entire family were stuck down with illness as a result of being served food that was âcheap, processed and virtually luminousâ.
âWe all had tummy upsets because of the food and drink and our fellow guests all suffered the sameâ said one of the guests.
Ongoing complaints of illness continue to pour onto TripAdvisor as many retuning holidaymakers flock to warn others to âavoidâ, âbook another hotelâ and âbe warnedâ, following their âawful experienceâ.
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims comments: âThe management of all-inclusive package holiday hotels, together with the tour operators involved in selling holidays to the Club Viva Hotel have a responsibility to ensure holidaymakers receive nothing less than the highest standards of food and hygiene during their stay.
âFailure to maintain these standards can lead to outbreaks of illness and result in legal action being taken against them.
âHard earned holidays should not result in illness and I would encourage anyone who has fallen ill during their stay at this resort to contact myself or a member of the Your Holiday Claims team, as with our help they may be entitled to make a successful claim for compensation.
