Holidays ruined by Club Mac Alcudia’s “bug”

Despite the severity of the illness outbreaks at Club Mac Alcudia, holiday representatives have been reported to have ignored complaints and not undertaken any action, despite many falling ill.

Tour operators also appear to remain unconcerned and it is believed that a full investigation into the cause of the “bug” is yet to be carried out.

A lady from Glasgow said: “We all took ill on the 2nd day, suffering symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea.

“My son aged 13, my daughter aged 1 and myself all ended up in hospital over there for three days in drips.

“Hundreds of people were being ill in the hotel as a result of it”

Another holidaymaker commented on TripAdvisor: “I became ill on the fifth day from something I ate for sure, because no one else was ill.

“My son also found a maggot in his burger from the burger bar. He took it back and they just brushed off as nothing important.
